This abstract work explores movement, connection, and the tension between structure and freedom. Loose black lines travel across the surface in unpredictable paths, creating a network that connects colourful shapes while also dividing the composition into separate spaces.
The bright yellow, red, blue, green, orange, and pink forms feel almost like fragments of living things—birds, petals, figures, or thoughts—emerging from an open white space. Some forms appear contained by the lines, while others seem to break beyond them, creating a feeling of constant movement and transformation.
The painting can be read as a reflection on how life is made up of scattered moments and experiences that gradually become connected. There is no single focal point or fixed interpretation; instead, the viewer is invited to move through the painting and discover their own relationships between the shapes.
At its heart, the work is about finding freedom within complexity—allowing different parts, colours, emotions, and experiences to exist together without needing to become one defined thing.
