This work explores the relationship between identity, freedom, and the hidden world within us. The fish-like forms move through the composition as symbols of instinct, movement, and the desire to remain free. Surrounded by bold colours and interconnected shapes, they appear to exist within a constantly changing environment.
The overlapping forms suggest that identity is never simple or fixed. Like fish moving beneath the surface of water, some parts of ourselves remain visible while others stay hidden, revealed only gradually.
The painting speaks about discovering what exists beneath the surface—our emotions, instincts, memories, and the parts of ourselves that continue to move even when the outside world changes.
